    The USS Dwight D. Eisenhower had an unusual start to its latest deployment, setting sail immediately after final certifications rather than returning to home port first.
    The Eisenhower and its strike group's "timeline for departure was demonstrative of the inherent agility of our naval forces. There is no one size fits all policy; operations at sea routinely flex for a variety of reasons," a US 2nd Fleet spokeswoman told Insider.

    Chinese naval command has set quotas and told the crew of China's first home-built aircraft carrier that trips ashore need permission from the captain after medical exam, as "each and every corner" of the ship is disinfected.
    The Chinese navy's news website says some Shandong crew members were in the country's worst-hit areas but that no infections were reported.
