• SFO Renames Terminal After Harvey Milk

    San Francisco International Airport renamed its South Terminal after Harvey Milk, California's first openly gay elected public official assassinated in 1978. The terminal is now called Harvey Milk Terminal 1, as part of a larger overhaul of the former South Terminal.
    The airport says this is the first terminal in the world named after a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
